Instagram Frida Alejandra Bueno Carrizales is a multidisciplinary artist who was born and raised in Coahuila de Zaragoza, Mexico, and currently based in Belgium. Originally trained in architecture and urbanism, her practice emerged from an awarness of the deep social inequalities and systemic injustices present in everyday life, leading her to question who gets to participate in the design of spaces, systems, and collective experiences.

Drawn toward what is often ignored, invisible, or considered too small to matter, she explores the relationship between bodies, materials, environments, and forms of collective coexistence. Her work is driven by a fascination with care, coexistence, and connection across different scales; from collective social experiences to invisible ecosystems and living material structures. Moving between spatial experimentation, material research, installation, craft practices, and collaborative processes, her practice often explores themes of intimacy, care, identity, belonging, participation, and transformation.
